There are plenty of tree companies operating in the Central Coast area, but none offer the combination of skill and expertise that Adney Tree Service does. Led by an ISA-certified arborist and dedicated to providing artisan-caliber services, we’ve been delivering premium tree-care solutions to local homeowners and property managers for more than a decade. From tree planting and pruning to emergency removals, lot clearing, and more, we’ve established ourselves as the tree service provider you can rely on.
The Adney Tree Service team approaches every job with one clear goal in mind: our client’s complete satisfaction. It doesn’t matter if we’re pruning a single fruit tree for a homeowner or performing a crane-assisted removal for a commercial property manager, we always do everything necessary to provide the kind of results we’d want ourselves. To do that, we employ sound, science-based arboricultural techniques, provide clear, transparent estimates for our work, and always leave job sites looking better than they did when we arrived.

While working as a general contractor in the early 2010s, Kyle Adney noticed a frustrating gap in the local tree-service market. He found that many clients struggled to find a truly professional tree-care partner who could meet their needs and deliver the level of service they deserved.
So, he set out to solve this problem by launching Adney Tree Service in 2015.
Notably (and unlike many other tree companies in the area), Kyle deliberately decided to grow the business slowly, in a way that ensured he could always offer Adney Tree Service clients the kind of service they deserved. He earned certification from the International Society of Arboriculture, acquired the tools and equipment needed to provide premium tree care-services, and assembled a team of professionals dedicated to offering unparalleled service.
Now, more than 10 years later, Kyle and his team have built a sterling local reputation, established long-lasting relationships with their clients, and — most importantly — provided safe, science-based tree-care services for homeowners and commercial clients across the Central Coast area.
We never take our clients’ business for granted. We start every day with an appreciation for those who entrust us with the care of their trees and property, and we always strive to earn the distinction of being the Central Coast’s best tree service provider.
A few things we think distinguish us from the competition include:
We are led by an ISA-certified arborist, who ensures that the entire team uses scientifically backed, industry-leading techniques when carrying out installations, pruning work, and removals.
We have a deep understanding of California’s trees, including both those species that are native to the state and the ornamental species often planted in our area.
We have spent the last decade establishing a rock-solid reputation as the Central Coast region’s leading tree service provider and earning a 5-star rating in the process.
We are a full-service tree-care provider, who can handle all of our clients’ needs, from simple pruning to the most complex crane-assisted removals.
We are licensed by the state of California and fully insured to provide our clients with the peace of mind and confidence they deserve.
We have been proudly providing tree-care services for residents and property managers in the Central Coast region since 2015. Whether you’re in Aptos, Santa Cruz, or anywhere in between, we make it easy to secure the help you need
We approach every job like the unique project it is and customize our plan to suit each client’s specific needs. However, we’ve developed a consistent process that serves as a starting point for our work. It includes the following steps:
You contact us by phone or email to request an on-site visit and consultation.
